With the Olympics now done for another 4 years, the team at Red Crayon have been pondering what it means to be at the top of one’s game; a leader in one’s field; the best in the world.
The extraordinary skills, finessed physiques and the dedication to training personified by these athletes has continued to amaze and inspire us. The pure elation and utter devastation seen upon thousands of athletes’ faces as they grapple with their successes and failures is but a small window into the depth of passion they feel for their craft.
It’s left us asking ourselves, how can we also embody this drive to be the best versions of ourselves and how can we help our clients to achieve their Olympic gold?
From an agency perspective, we believe in perpetual improvement and empowering our staff to continually grow and develop new skills. We want to know about the latest web trends, explore the use of brush script and other handmade techniques and discuss work from the industry that tickles, excites and intrigues us.
Like a sausage dog at a kid’s birthday party, we are eternally curious and you can usually find us, noses to the ground, searching out the ideas that have the power to dazzle, beguile and knock your socks all the way to Rio. We believe that a good idea can come from anyone, anywhere, so our brainstorming sessions extend agency wide and include our creative, management and accounts teams. Unlike other agencies, we encourage client feedback and involvement, though this does not make us yes-people by any stretch of our fantastical and long-legged imaginations.
By committing to being our best selves, we are able to help our clients tell meaningful and engaging stories that connect buyers with products and services that enrich their lives. By creating memorable brand campaigns again and again, year after year, we help brands to stay relevant and front of mind for their customers. And by constantly striving for more, we ensure that we never rest on our laurels or get complacent.
We might only get to behold the Olympics every few years, but we can certainly draw inspiration from the world’s top athletes until we get to glimpse them next.
If you’ve been inspired to go for gold, we’d love to hear from you – contact us today!
