Brief
Sportsbet engaged Red Crayon to develop an employer brand identity and campaign which clearly articulates the Sportsbet Employer Value Proposition and its proof points. Furthermore, the campaign needed to effectively contribute to and support DE&I and retention business objectives. Simply put, how do we position Sportsbet as the employer of choice to attract and retain the best talent in the industry?!
Solution
In collaboration with the Employer Branding team at Sportsbet, the concept of "The Green Tick Feeling" was born. Through exploration of many concepts and themes we found that mirroring the experience of consumers and the excitement that is felt when that Green Tick appears on the screen after a successful bet was powerful. You know the feeling... the winning feeling. We couldn't help but think the Sportsbet team members also have this feeling working at Sportsbet.
We brought this concept to life through an employer brand video and multiple interview videos which were shot on the streets of Melbourne and at Sportsbet HQ across two days. Our design team then rolled out the new look and feel across a suite of assets including the careers website, social media pages, digital banners, internal comms, and brand guidelines.
Result
The campaign has been well received by the client and went live in November 2023 with great initial feedback from internal teams and the broader job seeking market. We look forward to working with the Sportsbet team in the future to further amplify the campaign assets.
